The small sand dunes:
The sand dunes are mostly in the territory of Gurvanbulag soum of Bulgan aimag and Burd soum of Uvurkhangai aimag starting from the western part of Batkhaan Mountain and stretching by the western parts of the Khugnu Khan Mountains for about 90 km of length. The widest area is spread for 9-10 km. there we will stay overnight in the nomadic family and have a two-humped camelback riding trip on the sand dunes.
The snow-capped Otgontenger Mountain:
From the ancient times, the Mongols worshipped by respecting this mountain as the Ochirvaani or the Sacred Top and this mountain is worshipped officially by the state authorities even now. It’s a mountain which is 4.021 m tall above the sea level. We will settle the tents in the steppes, to do trekking through the natural pure air and will visit local nomadic families.
The Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur (White Lake) and Khorgo’s Volcano Crater:
This lake with clear water is the most visited place by tourists and the Khorgo’s Mountain originates from the volcano lava. The length is 16 km, the width is 6 km and depth is 20 m.
Khorgo Mountain:
This mountain originates from the extinct volcano crater located near the Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur (White Lake) and once upon time, this volcano was active 8 thousand years ago. This area have amazingly strange structure consisting of rocks and stones, valleys and gales; after adventurous horseback riding trip we will relax in the waters of Orkhon Waterfall and hot mineral sources (springs) including other interesting things.
